Isolation Transformers for Reliable Electrical Separation
Isolation transformers provide galvanic separation between the primary supply circuit and the secondary circuit. The absence of a direct electrical connection helps separate connected equipment from disturbances and fault conditions present in the supply network.
Inducto manufactures single-phase and three-phase isolation transformers for industrial systems, laboratories, service workshops, control equipment, technical installations and other applications requiring electrical separation. The transformer can be produced with a 1:1 voltage ratio or with different primary and secondary voltages.
Each unit is designed for the required power, voltages, frequency, insulation class, mounting conditions and degree of protection. An electrostatic screen, temperature sensors, custom terminals and protective enclosures can be included where required.
Benefits
Isolation transformers support safe system design, reduce the direct transfer of common-mode interference and help protect sensitive loads. They are also used to create a separately derived secondary system where the earthing and protection concept is defined independently.
Safety note
An isolation transformer does not eliminate every electric shock hazard. Touching both live output conductors at the same time can still result in dangerous current flow. The secondary circuit must therefore be designed and protected in accordance with the applicable standards and installation rules.

We manufacture open IP00 units and enclosed versions for industrial environments. The mechanical design and connection system can be adapted to the available installation space.
